I liked that staff had taken the time to turn on an interior light and turn up the heat as I was a very late arrival (1am). The room was spacious, updated and very clean. Bed was very comfortable with good quality pillows - the most imprtant factor for me as it is difficult for me to get a decent sleep away from home.

Breakfast offerings was a bit above many other similar hotels, including in the US - good variety of choices. Bold coffee was deeply appreciated. Average room but with mini fridge and microwave oven discreetly tucked away. Comfy bed and the window slid open enough to enjoy some much needed real air. This hotel is also placed well, within easy reach of the main road through town, and with a varied selection of restaurants, lounges and stores nearby. Good value generally.

It is a hostel after all. The staff was incredibly friendly, but the other guests were quite loud, even during the supposedly "quiet hours".
If you get a top bunk, there are no outlets to charge your devices.
The toilet were ok but the bathroom was horrible: hair around and in the sink and drain, faucet were disgusting and not cleaned.

The city of Kelowna is beautiful and has everything a traveller should need. Beaches, many Restaurants and hotels down town with a great variety within walking distance, many shops etc. But prices are very expensive there for everything. A vehicle is a must to get to most attractions because it is spread out. Many vehicle rental companies at the Airport, and some bike rentals down town. I did notice some boat excursions trips offered but I didn't use. Taxi is available but I didn't need any because I had a rental vehicle

I personally live in Kelowna but my home was sold to developers and have been basically homeless for 4 months so that’s why I’ve been staying at hotels.
Kelowna is a nice place , just living here is tough . Years ago they called Kelowna “Canada’s Hawaii” because of our beautiful weather. Getting around Kelowna is easy I would say . Traffic is crazy in the summer with only one bridge in and out of town towards Penticton or Van .

Just an overnight stay on the way home.
Just an overnight stay on the way home. Airport a mess with expansion construction. Long walk to shuttle, need to improve this, I have a disability and made it very difficult. Also no airport restaurants open late, nowhere to eat if you arrive on a late flight.

Kelowna is absolutely beautiful and inviting it has all the right qualities and attractions to make anyone feel comfortable and welcome in our community. The views that surround you are breathtaking and there’s a beach or creek within a half mile to mile radius of you almost anywhere in the city. Walking paths and hiking trails are also of abundance here and there is no shortage of places to explore. Kelowna is a beautiful city and definitely worth putting in your vacation budget. Make it a big budget too a sit is a luxury that you pay for as prices are on the higher end of the markets

I lived in the area for many years and other than during wildfire season, the entire region is spectacular. There is so much to do, all year round! There are 5 or 6 top notch ski resorts, more wineries, golf courses and camp grounds than you can count, and the lakes have amazing beaches - especially Kal Lake which has a tropical feel mid-summer.
The hotel has had some renovations and is very quaint. The attitude of the staff was exceptional. They showed great concern for my comfort and were always willing to help The attached restaurant was also staffed with very pleasant and friendly staff. The balconies are small but had two Adirondack chairs and I was able to watch the Snowbird air show from there. It is right across the street from the waterfront park and a short walk to the pedestrian mall on Bernard St. I didn’t get to try the pool and hot tub but the facilities looked nice
Absolutely phenomenal hotel on every aspect! We travel a lot and this was the best one we have ever stayed at. We had a pet friendly king suite which was soooo luxurious and SPACIOUS! Omg biggest room ever! I honestly can’t find anything to complain about! We will definitely stay again. The free breakfast was superb with so many choices. They hit 10s with every room detail possible! Simply amazing. Staff were by far the friendliest and exceptionally helpful in ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
For a single night before taking a flight from YLW, the rooms in the residences are the best value in Kelowna. Ours was pristine clean. The bed was comfortable. There were small hotel amenities like shampoo/conditioner, soap & coffee.
The check in location was easy to find with Google Maps. We received a campus map to help with parking & residence bldg. check in-out flawless. These are campus rooms. Everything you need is there. It’s not luxurious. It IS incredible value at $140/nt.
The room was great, overlooking the ocean and mountains. Everything was so clean, and I feel it was the best location in town! The hotel has its own little private beach, restaurants, and swimming pools. I arrived at the hotel early on check-in day, and there was a room available, so that was a plus. We stayed in the middle of February, the weather was chilly, so we couldn't really enjoy the outdoors pools or swim in any of the beaches, but we will definitely return in the summer!
This was my 3rd stay at Hotel Eldorado and as usual, it didn't disappoint. We didn't even leave the resort for the duration of our stay since everything we needed was right on site - beach, pools, little bit of shopping in The Boathouse, restaurants (from casual to fine dining) and a pub!
The staff were, as always, extraordinarily, patient, kind and helpful, despite the fact that it was prime tourist season and there were a lot of people to assist!
Our family loved Hotel Zed, it was a funky change of pace. We absolutely loved the juke box and the ping pong table in the common room. Our room was a good size for our family, they allowed dogs which was a big plus for us. The location was great! It was easy to walk to the city center and was located right across from the park. Parking was a bit difficult but we did get a spot. We will go back!
Best breakfast, sleep and shower I had while I was in Canada.
The room was clean and the bed amazing, just as the breakfast. The host was very helpful to give ideas of things to do or to visit in Kelowna, while following my likings.
Wifi connection was good and the tv had netflix available.
this hotel is comfortable and clean. They clean the place every day. The breakfast was great, nice pancakes, fruits, yogurt, coffee, cereal, etc. I went for work, for us the location was great. I had to visit west kelowna, East Kelowna and Lake Country. The employees were friendly.
One of the best stays in Kelowna. Hosts are wonderful and friendly people with lots of stories and great attitude. The house itself is full of history making our stay as cozy as possible! A place to return to!
The host made us feel very welcome. The home is spacious and very comfortable. Wonderful views.
Anna is generous and an exceptional host. She was our tour guide for downtown Kelowna.
Excellent service from staff at front desk, whole facility including room was very clean, multiple and cozy spaces to meet in lobby, best hotel breakfast ever and minutes from airport.
The biggest draw of this hotel is the location. It is right in downtown. It is very near restaurants, stores and transportation. The place looks old but probably needs an upgrade.
Great hotel, staff were extremely friendly. Room was very clean. Layout was odd but it didn't take away from the stay. We are in Kelowna often and would love to stay here again.
Clean, well maintained property, but cheap. On the prairies this hotel would be $79/night, but it's Kelowna and truly it's location is amazing and it's what you're paying for.
